Week 2 of build: 3

Now that we are into our second week people carry on with what they are building for the set. Adam is now putting the wading onto the sofa and again he works manly by himself with a little bit of help when needed, its starting to look really good and I cant wait to see it finished.

Emily and John carry on with the walls now they are putting up the wallpaper in the bedroom This still needs to match up but to make it stretch further than the living room did I believe they missed off sections. when its finished it is ripped in sections to see how it looks and what the best method is to distress the paper. Its important that it doesn't look mechanical in the images.

With the help of Hannah Laura starts making the nurses chair. For this the make a small base that the feet are attached to then place on that a skin for the seat and a larger one for the back, then Laura cuts padding for the seat places it on and starts covering it. They almost finished it by the end of the day and it looks really impressive. Its not quite sturdy enough for any one to sit on it for to long but you can perch on it and its perfect for the type of prop it is.

Sarah and I went into Chatham to look for handles for her desk which has five draws, we went to a couple of places like Wicks and Wilkinson but we didn't find anything that was appropriate.

When I get back I help Eleanor with her table cutting out the shaped pieces of ply wood that go around the sides of her table. While Sarah helps Emma put a skin on the frame of her bed.
